Position Overview:

We are seeking a candidate with strong drafting skills and an engineering background in the electric utility industry to support the development of distribution standards.

key Responsibilities:

Develop and design electric distribution standards for both overhead and underground systems

Create and maintain standards drawings using CAD platforms

Collaborate with full-time engineering staff to capture requirements and translate them into detailed drafting deliverables

Revise and update existing standards as needed

Required Qualifications:

Background in electric utility engineering, specifically within distribution standards

Hands-on experience with both AutoCAD and MicroStation

Strong drafting and technical design capabilities

Experience working with standards documentation, sketches, and utility design concepts

Ability to work closely with a team and incorporate feedback effectively
