Description:

The Georgia Public Health Laboratory is seeking a Quality Analyst to support implementation of our Laboratory Information Management System.


The QI Consultant will lead the implementation of a facility-wide external quality systems project plan; work with the facility manager to oversee the facility’s environmental monitoring system; coordinate the completion of documentation of non-conforming events and assure implementation of corrective actions; assist with completion of calibration/certification activities; participate in internal audits; and play a leading role in the implementation of a new laboratory information management system (LIMS).
 

  1. Regression Testing. Repetitive Testing to make sure new functionality does not impact previously tested functionality.
  2. Independent and Impartial Tester
  3. Help update documentation and synchronize to business processes
  4. Identify in consistencies across times.
  5. Uncover latent defects in the system.
  6. Provide volumes of test
  7. Set and reset testing to be reviewed by the final subject matter experts.
  8. Organize testing documentation.
  9. Work with development and configuration team to troubleshoot and pinpoint testing issues.
  10. Update Testing Plans and other documentation such as DCWs
  11. Perform Test first to make sure they are ready for SME / UAT
  12. Test according to the DCW sand find/report differences.
  13. Off script testing, to find defects.

 

The candidate will:

  1. Work closely with the System Admin setting/resetting test scenarios
  2. Work closely with QA reviewing and submitting testing documentation.
  3. Supporting Super users training, follow up, helping to troubleshoot, recreate, retest and document issues
  4. Work with LIMS Vendor to review issues and confirm they are resolved
  5. Help QA and Superusersreview, update and document Standard Operating Procedures.

 

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of system experience in developing or supporting Laboratory/Medical applications.

2 years of experience in development of test plans and regression testing

2 years of Experience with SQL and programming

Laboratory Quality Assurance and regulatory experience.
