Required AHA & BLS
Must have ECMO experience.
The ECMO specialist primary role and responsibility is the care of the ECMO devices along with active participation in direct care of the patient.
The ECMO specialist will assume the responsibility of taking care of the both the ECMO patients as well as other patients in the CCU when needed.
The ECMO nurse will be proficient and competent with CRRT and other mechanical devices; such as Intra-Aortic ballon pumps and impella.
