Place of Performance: Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Current POP starts 9/30/25. POP ends 9/30/2026. TO POP ends 9/30/28. This is a yearlong commitment. Shorter assignments will not be considered. ** Work is 80/20 therapy vs assessments. The age range is 4-18. Hours of Performance: The performance hours of the MTF are as follows: WRNMMC provides services 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The Contractor shall be required to work their designated schedule. The schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Scheduling is always based on the needs of WRNMMC and must be coordinated through the government scheduling officer. Duty hours will range from 8 to 12-hour shifts with a 45-minute lunch break. Minimum Qualifications: • Education: Shall hold a Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship. • Certification: Must maintain current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course; American Red Cross CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for the Professional Rescuer; or equivalent. • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical psychology. Minimum two years of experience in the past three years working with child & adolescents. The Contractor shall ensure that the contract service provider has sufficient training and experience to effectively provide social work services for service members and family members. • Licensure: Must have and maintain a current license to practice Clinical or Counseling Psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. This license must be current, valid, and unrestricted. Contract service providers must meet all credentialing requirements for the MTF where they will be providing services.
