WIIN Contractor Duties:

1) Monitor WIIN Grant emails for bottle orders and communication.

2) Receive and log WIIN grant samples.

3) Contact WIIN clients as necessary.

4) Notify analysts of WIIN sample issues and WIIN requested turnaround times.

5) Track and inventory WIIN supplies and report to the manager.

6) Assist other areas at manager discretion:

a. Assist with receiving, logging, and distributing samples

b. Dispose of samples

c. Learn to clean and prepare semi-quantitative macroinvertebrate samples to sort/pick macroinvertebrates

d. Enter quality control into Microsoft Excel

e. Enter data into the laboratory information management system (LIMS)

f. Assist in preparation of samples before analysis

g. Assist in recording daily checks of ovens, refrigerators, hoods, etc.

h. Assist with clerical duties
